The quaint St. Mazie in Williamsburg is hosting a monthly New Orleans-style Gumbo brunch on their patio the last Sunday of each month this summer. Each time they'll welcome a guest gumbo maker to give it a unique flair. On the 27th, brunchers can toe tap to the sounds of the Blue Vipers of Brooklyn and grab a bowl of gumbo ($5), order up a pitcher of Pimm's or Bloody Marys ($35), sit back and take it all in.
Following brunch, as day turns to night, they'll have LIVE SWING DANCE LESSONS and then local favorite jazz band, Baby Soda, will take to the stage as they do weekly at St. Mazie to bring the party from out back to the bar. Brunchers or evening imbibers can sway to their eclectic set of sounds from 30’s era swing, New Orleans jazz, and southern gospel while sipping on the signature coupes of cocktails at the bar.
